White Galaxy Nexus Stars in Unboxing Video

Today is a pretty good day for Android enthusiasts as the white Samsung Galaxy Nexus has officially gone on sale at retailers in the United Kingdom. Now, that doesn’t mean that those of you in the United States can’t pick one up. You can. You’ll just have to buy it in unlocked form from a retailer like Negri Electronics who is selling it for $650 off-contract. If you’re seriously thinking about doing that, an unboxing video has arrived showing the beast off.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus was released globally last year with Verizon in the United States playing host to the 4G LTE version of the smartphone. The white model is not a 4G LTE smartphone. Instead, it’s the GSM 3G model so don’t expect to see data speeds that can get up to 10 times faster than 3G.

Don’t believe me? Check out this video below:

Point is, it might be in your best interested to check out the 4G LTE version before your splurge for those one.

We thought that the Verizon Galaxy Nexus was one of the best Android smartphones to ever grace shelves and because the GSM model is only a little different, you can expect the same quality.

Spec-wise, it features a 4.65’’ HD Super AMOLED display which boasts 720p resolution or  1280×720. It will have a 5MP camera up in the front. A front-facing camera for video chat. It’ll also have a 1.2GHz dual core processor and HSPA+ 4G connectivity.

In addition, it features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Google’s new operating system, right out of the box.
