We’ve seen over 60 reports of this text message appear on different message boards, including users posting their phone number and contact information to try to get their iPhone 5.

First off, Apple doesn’t allow the public to use their products until they announce the product, and even then, it wouldn’t be through a sketchy program like this.

If you keep getting texts from the same number you can block numbers form your cell phone account. You should let AT&T or your carrier know about the spam so you are not charged for the text.

yea my txt said “apple is testing the new iPhone5! The first 1000 users that go to https://cellphonetesters.com and enter code 4444 get to test & keep iPhone5. I work at a premium retailer verizon so I thought I got that text because i work at a verizon wireless so i believed it until I typed the URL in and saw this. I hate that ignorant crap like this and the other scams like the envelope stuffers and make $500 a day working from home! It should be against the law due to the fact is harassment, false advertisement, and like in one of the previous comments I read telephone misuse which is punishable by law. I should have figured it was fake when no one at work said anything and I just totally forgot to ask, but nothing in this world is free so yeaaaaa….
