Published

on

Earlier this week, Instagram for Android arrived for device owners. Soon after the app’s launch on the Google Play Store, the developers behind the app released a bug fix update. Still, users were experiencing issues. Well, Instagram listened and it has released yet another update that should help to fix a lot of the issues that Android owners have been having.

The latest update takes the application from version 1.0.1 to 1.0.2.

Inside the latest piece of software are a bunch of fixes that should take care of some of the biggest problems that have been plaguing the app since it launched just a few short days ago.

Instagram for Android Gets Yet Another Update

This new update includes these bug fixes:

  1. • Images being reported as too small
  2. • “File not found” when importing from gallery
  3. • Search fixes on HTC devices
  4. • Camera related crashes

It’s unclear if the issue takes care of some of the compatibility issues that some owners had been seeing.

Chief among the devices that didn’t have Instagram for Android support was the HTC One X, the latest and greatest smartphone from HTC. Owners of other devices have been chiming in about compatibility issues as well.

This was the second major launch of an app for Android in recent days.
