HTC One S Coming Soon to T-Mobile

HTC and T-Mobile have announced an event set to take place on Wednesday, April 18th where the companies will finally unveil the long-awaited HTC One S, a device that the American carrier announced back in February.

Both manufacturer and carrier have been mum on the device since revealing it back at Mobile World Congress 2012. We’ve heard April 25th rumored as a launch date for the device and this event seems to match up quite nicely with that.

Although, it could very well come much sooner.

T-Mobile HTC One S Release Date Closer Than Ever

The event will not only be the launching pad for T-Mobile’s latest HTC flagship smartphone, but it will also feature a performance by Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. to celebrate the occasion.

T-Mobile’s HTC One S will be replacing the HTC Sensation 4G, one of the carrier’s most popular devices. The device is part of HTC’s new One Series of smartphones that includes the HTC One X and the HTC One V and it represents HTC’s new build design.

The One S is extremely thin and it comes with a beautiful build design.

It also has a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED touch screen which sports 540 x 960 resolution, a 1.5 GHz, dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.

The HTC One S for T-Mobile will also be capable of working on the carrier’s HSPA+ 42 network which, while not as fast as 4G LTE, is capable of pulling down some pretty good speeds.

So, for those interested, expect a release date and pricing to arrive on April 18th.

And if we had to guess, we’d say April 25th for $220 on-contract.
