Samsung continues to mock Apple and iPhone owners with a teaser ad for the new Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
Ahead of the May 3rd Samsung event in London, two new videos have ben posted to a Samsung teaser site, the first mocking iSheep and sharing some clues about the Samsung Galaxy S III.
The first Samsung Galaxy S III teaser doesn’t show off the actual phone, but provides some room for speculation.
Samsung’s teaser site, www.tgeltaayehxnx.com/, redirects to Samsung’s YouTube page, but when it returns, users can solve a riddle to unlock another Galaxy S III teaser video. The unscrambled site is www.thenextgalaxy.com, but it is now offline.
Based on the text of the Galaxy S III teaser trailer we can make the following assumptions;
- “Where a Galaxy fits perfectly in your hand.” – Curved back for a better grip.
- “Your view of the world grows ever wider.” – Wide screen HD display.
- “As you gain the power to explore it freely and swiftly.” – All day battery life and/or Swiftkey.
Of course, Samsung takes a shot at iPhone users at the end of the ad, saying that the next Galaxy will allow users to stand out from the iSheep crowd. In other words, stand out from the crowd by buying a different mass-produced smartphone.
Samsung has scheduled a Galaxy event on May 3rd in London, where we expect to see the new Galaxy smartphone. Though unconfirmed, Samsung is likely to call this new phone the Samsung Galaxy S III, building on the Galaxy brand that millions of consumers recognize.
We’ve seen leaked photos claiming to be the Samsung Galaxy S III, but according to Samsung sources there have been no accurate leaks yet. Samsung has wrapped up the Galaxy S III launch as tight as an Apple launch, leaving the masses hungry and hunting for new leaks and rumors.
Additional rumors say that Samsung will announce a new Galaxy Tab at the May 3rd event in London.
