Watch Live TV On Your iPad and iPhone for Free – While It Lasts
Watching Live TV on the iPad and iPhone is a wish of many owners, and the app store offers a number of ways to watch live TV from network and cable channels, but almost all of these apps require a cable subscription.
A new web service, iOSLiveTV, skirts the Apple App Store reviewers and offers up live streaming TV on the iPhone and iPad.

iOSLiveTV won’t be around for long because the service likely does not have the rights to stream premium channels, so it’s only a matter of time before the service goes dark.
Until then, users can watch many channels including,
- NBC
- CBS
- Showtime
- ESPN
- ESPN 2
- SyFy
- FOX
- USA
- A&E
- Cinemax
- FX
- and more.
iOSLiveTV plays in the iPhone and iPad browser and is airplay compatible, making it simple to stream live TV from the iPad to the Apple TV. The service delivers good quality video on most channels, though there is a weird stuttering on several channels, including Showtime.
Some feeds are already going down as I write this, but ESPN is still up and running, showing the Not, Top 10 plays of the day.
While iOSliveTV will be a distant memory by Monday, it serves as a reminder to how good the video experience could be on the iPhone and the iPad if rights owners found a way to deliver content streaming right to these devices.
While there are a number of great streaming apps for the iPad and iPhone, almost all require the user to subscribe to a cable service, which is expensive and comes with a lot of channels users don’t want.
Even Game of Thrones, which has an amazing iPad experience thanks to HBO Go, falters because users must subscribe to a cable company that has a streaming agreement with HBO. Many users would rather pay HBO $15 a month direct and skip the cable subscription.
Head over to iOSLiveTV.com to watch Live TV on your iPad and iPhone while you can.

Not sure if I missed something, but I couldn’t find the link to the episode here. I did however find out how to watch it at https://hbostreams.com – check it out.

Hello, it seems the service moved to another domain, the old address is ioslivetv.com and the new one is ioslivetv.net. Read this somewhere on Youtube. But anyway, ioslivetv.net is great, thank developers

Actually, https://iOSLiveTV.com works fine.
ioslivetv.net seems like the cheapest knock-off you could come up with.
