While we’re still waiting for a Samsung Galaxy S III release date for the United States, it appears that the highly anticipated smartphone might have a June 20th release date in Canada.

According to a leaked document procured by Mobile Syrup, several Canadian carriers appear to be gearing up for a June 20th Samsung Galaxy S III launch. The carriers listed on the document include the usual suspects – Bell, Rogers, Telus and Virgin Mobile.

It’ll also be coming to WIND, Videotron, SaskTel, and Mobilicity.

The document also lists pre-orders as beginning ‘today’ but it’s unclear as to when ‘today’ is. The report pegs May 30th as a possible day for the pre-ordering period to begin for Canadian consumers.

It’s unclear if this means that U.S. carriers will be launching their devices at the same time. AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile are all rumored to be getting the Samsung Galaxy S III although none of them have released any details in regards to the device’s release.

Last year, the Canadian Samsung Galaxy S II launch took place right around the same time as the U.S. launch so it’s possible that we could see the device land on U.S. carriers in late June as well.

Samsung has officially said that the U.S. will be getting the phone in June.

Customers in the United States who want the device earlier than June can pre-order an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S III from Amazon. The price is steep though and will cost consumers $799.99.

The Galaxy S III is Samsung’s latest smartphone and it features a spacious 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display, an impressive 8MP camera with loads of features, a massive 2100mAh battery, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
