Earlier today, it became apparent that Flipboard would be rolling out a Flipboard for Android beta in order to help ensure a smooth release on Google’s mobile platform. Well, today, Flipboard for Android beta has become available to download.

The developers have started sending out the Flipboard for Android beta APK file that most Android users should be able to use and install. The installation process is extremely simple for those that wish to download it and give Flipboard feedback.

Download the APK file and simply tap the file to install. It’s as simple as that.

From there, users will want to test the application and deliver feedback to Flipboard in an effort to make the official launch a smooth one.

Feedback can be sent to [email protected]. This way, the developers can iron out most if not all of the bugs pre-launch.

This is a little bit of a different approach than most developers have used but it’s a welcomed one, especially after the buggy launches of both Temple Run and Instagram.

Flipboard is hoping that by providing Android users with a beta, it will be able to provide an experience that is on par with the application on Apple’s iOS.

For those unfamiliar with Flipboard, it’s an application that creates a personalized magazine that pulls in news and posts from websites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more.

It then combines all of those into a beautiful looking format that is both easy to navigate and beautiful to look at.

Flipboard has not announced when the Android beta period will end but hopefully it won’t be more than just a few weeks.
