Motorola Atrix HD Price Drops Already

Published

on

The price of the Motorola Atrix HD has already been slashed at one retailer, just a day after the device officially launched on AT&T’s 4G LTE network.

Unwired View has discovered that Best Buy currently has the Motorola Atrix HD available for $49.99 with the signing of a new two-year contract. That’s a $50 discount from the $99.99 price tag that AT&T currently has attached to the device.

The retailer’s price cut comes just a day after the device hit AT&T’s 4G LTE network with some very intriguing features on board, features that certainly warrant a look from consumers looking for a solid new Android smartphone with a cheap price tag.

The Motorola Atrix HD sports a 8.4mm thin design with a Kevlar back and Gorilla Glass up front for protection.

The Atrix HD price has already dropped.

It also packs a 1.5GHz dual core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory with a Micro SD card slot for expanded storage space.

Maybe the most intriguing feature on the device, besides Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box and 4G LTE data speeds, is its display.

The Atrix HD has a 4.5-inch ColorBoost display with a 720 x 1280 resolution display. It also boasts 330 pixels per inch. The high pixel density helps deliver a sharper, crisper visual experience.

AT&Ts Atrix HD also packs an 8MP shooter on the rear, which sports “zero shutter lag” and the ability to record 1080P HD at 30 frames per second. It also has a front facing camera that offers 720P HD for better looking video chats.

It doesn’t, however, come with support for Motorola’s Lapdock.

We have been spending some time with the Motorola Atrix HD and thus far, have liked the smartphone. And with a $50 price tag instead of a $99.99 one, we like it even more.
