HTC One X Price Dropping on Sunday

It would appear that AT&T is gearing up to slash the HTC One X price down this Sunday.

According to a shred of evidence found on XDA-Foruns, courtesy of The Verge, the carrier appears set to slash the price of the HTC One X smartphone down to a mere $99.99 on-contract.

This isn’t too surprising considering Radio Shack is set to do the exact same thing this Sunday.

The screenshot, which was apparently taken from AT&T’s internal website reveals the carriers plan to knock down the price of the HTC One X. The carrier also reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S III is on “Extreme Backorder” though it’s unclear what that means exactly as the phone appears to be in-stock online.

The HTC One X price could drop to $99.99 on Sunday.

It also appears that the red Samsung Galaxy S III might go up for sale on the same day. AT&T has yet to give the red Galaxy S III an official release date though pre-orders for the device started on July 15th. It could be that we’ll finally see it launch.

The HTC One X is currently one of AT&T’s flagship Android smartphones and a price drop down to $99.99 would be a pretty good offer for those looking to get their hands on one of the premier Android smartphones of 2012.

It features an extremely crisp high-resolution display that checks in at 4.7-inches. It has 4G LTE data speeds. It has a speedy Snapdragon S4 processor. And it features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with a promised upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

That’s a pretty good combination that should get even more appealing with the price drop.

  1. Splendid product from HTC. I use my One X for all of my graphic design endeavors here in Dallas. Whether it’s prototyping design ideas or mailing them to clients through AT&T’s 4G LTE, the One X facilitates all of my work needs.

    • taht’s exactly how I use mine. I’m a g. designer in Atlanta, and I couldn’t do without the speed of the 4GLTE. I’ve been with AT&T a long time so i’m glad it includes the HTC on its 4G.

I used to be with Verizon but switched to AT&T once it “got” 4G LTE (or HSPA+, whichever). I think it works a lot faster. I’m a hairdresser and i use my phone constantly.
