Samsung spent nearly an hour and a half unleashing mobile products at its Unpacked Event in Berlin earlier today. The company introduced the Galaxy Note II, Galaxy CameraATIV Windows tablets and a handful of other goodies. The full video shows that the event was an enormous production and how the thousands of journalists and technology industry affiliates responded to each announcement.

The event was first-class, complete with a big-name guests, Samsung executives and a live string and brass ensemble.

The Samsung Unpacked Event was broken into four major parts. First, a magician warmed up the crowd and Samsung introduced the theme of creativity by showing how 10 Samsung users created a video about Berlin with Galaxy products. The second part of the presentation focused on the Galaxy Note II, Samsung’s new phablet that features a 5.5″ display and pen-optimized software. Samsung then introduced the world’s first Android Camera with built-in 3G and 4G. Samsung spent the final portion of the event showing off its new Windows products, including a pair of Windows tablets, the first Windows 8 phone and a new Series 9 notebook.

The Samsung Unpacked Event was the first major public Samsung event since a California jury awarded Apple more than $1 billion in a patent-infringement case. After attending this event in person its easy to see why the media is busy examining Samsung’s products rather than its legal briefs. The Apple vs Samsung legal drama is far from over, but Samsung’s managed to put the spotlight back on its products for the time being.

IFA 2012 doesn’t officially open until Friday, but Samsung’s already stolen the show by introducing innovative products and making a big splash. The event did have some hiccups before the presentations kicked off and some journalists complained they couldn’t understand some of the presenters’ accents, but it seemed most walked out of the auditorium wowed. Samsung demonstrated that it’s committed to a range of mobile solutions and is willing to take risks with a completely new Android form factor. The Galaxy Camera and Note 2 were highly anticipated, but there wasn’t much pre-event noise regarding the Windows devices.

In addition to the Unpacked Event, Samsung’s been holding smaller media briefings in Berlin and will host countless show attendees at its massive booth, which dwarfs a football field.
