Published

Apple has already taken control of the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts this week prior to the much anticipated iPhone 5 announcement and launch come this Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Apple branding has been put up over the front facade of the YBCA along with a colorful banner, though there are not any signage on the inside to indicate what specifics will be announced.

In addition to placing signage, Apple has also hauled in trucks and generators. A TV truck was also spotted on an adjacent street to the YBCA. This is perhaps a hired camera crew to record the event for distribution via iTunes and Apple.com the evening following the announcement.

Security around the loading dock of the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, the venue where Apple will have its Wednesday announcement, was also tight. There were visible Apple security officers guarding trucks, equipment, and the entrance ways.
