Ravensword: Shadowlands For iPhone Reminds Us Of Skyrim

While most iOS games focus on quick hits of fun there are a few games out there that offer large worlds normally reserved for console of PC games. Ravensword: Shadowlands falls into the latter category.

The latest trailer for the new RPG shows an open world game that looks a lot like what we’d expect from an Elder Scrolls game like Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The trailer shows an adventurer wandering through the open world, exploring caves, and fighting everything from spiders to dinosaurs.

The graphics shown in the trailer aren’t as detailed as those in Skyrim, but they are very impressive for a smartphone game. The open world of the game includes snowy mountains, forests, and swamps which the hero will fight through.

The story of Ravensword: Shadowlands focuses on the return of a demon lord who a hero vanquished 500 years earlier. The scenes in the trailer don’t show much of the great evil in the world, instead it just shows us more of the world and the creatures that inhabit it.

Sadly we don’t know when Ravensword: Shadowlands will come to the App Store, only that it will come something before the end of the year. We can’t wait to play it and explore its world when it finally does land on the iPhone (and presumably iPhone).

Until we hear more about the game what little information the trailer gives us will have to suffive. Hopefully the next trailer will give us more insight to the game.
