It appears that Android enthusiasts might be in for a treat in the future as listings for a 32GB Nexus 7 and a Samsung Nexus 2, presumably the Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2, have appeared in an inventory listing from UK retailer Carphone Warehouse.

Droid-Life unearthed the screenshot which depicts listings for both a Nexus 7 with 32GB of storage space as well as a listing for a Samsung Nexus 2 which could very well be the sequel to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the Galaxy Nexus 2.

The Galaxy Nexus 2 has been rumored several times in the past and its presumed model number even showed up in some photos posted to the picture sharing site, Picasa.

The Nexus 7 may see a 32GB variant launch later this year.

Rumored specifications for the Nexus 4 include a Super AMOLED HD display that measures in at 4.65-inches, a dual-core A9 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, an 8MP rear camera, a 1.9MP front-facing camera, 16GB of storage and a slot for an SD card which would provide for expanded storage.

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will likely be on board as well.

As for the 32GB Nexus 7, this is the first time that we’ve heard about an increase in the storage space on Google’s Nexus tablet but it certainly would be a welcomed addition considering the tablet is only available in 8GB and 16GB form.

With 32GB of space, users will have much more storage for things like music, movies and more.

The rumor comes on the heels of whispers about a possible $99 Nexus 7 or a Nexus 7 with cellular data capabilities coming later this year. It also comes shortly after the new Nexus was heavily rumored to be based on LG’s Optimus G smartphone which launched last month.

Google has been rumored to be releasing several new Nexus smartphones and it’s possible that an LG-made Nexus could join a Galaxy Nexus 2 sometime later this year.

We’ve heard that the new Nexus might be coming within the next 30 days, possibly at an event on October 29th where Android head Andy Rubin is scheduled to talk.

Anyone interested in a Galaxy Nexus 2 or a Nexus 7 with more storage space?

I love my Galaxy Nexus … the only improvements I would like to see are a better camera, better battery, and LTE available on the GSM variant. Otherwise the phone is ideal in size and makeup
