iPad Mini Renders Offer Lifelike Look at the New iPad
New renders of Apple’s rumored iPad Mini have surfaced today and they show off a very lifelike an extremely stunning view of a device that could resemble Apple’s real 7.85-inch iPad.
Martin Hajek, who created some beautiful pre-launch renders of the iPhone 5, courtesy of Gizmodo, posted the new iPad Mini renders today and they offer a glimpse of what the device might look like if all of the rumors that have surfaced regarding the new tablet come true.
The renders depict a device that sports several colors including the familiar black and white anodized aluminum finishes that are found on the iPhone 5, Apple’s current iPhone.
We also see sort of a teal or maybe cyan color as well, offering consumers a look at what an iPad Mini might look like if Apple offers more colors than just the standard black and white.
We also see the smaller 7.85-inch display, which is rumored to have lower resolution than the regular iPad. The renders also offer a rear and front-facing camera and a design similar to many of the leaks that we have seen. We also get a glimpse of how the iPad Mini compares to such devices as the iPhone 5, iPad Mini and more.
These are easily the best renders that we have seen of the iPad Mini and they may very well end up depicting a device similar to the iPad Mini that Apple is rumored to be announcing sometime later this month.
iPad Mini Release Date
Thus far, the only date that we have heard for the iPad Mini release date is November 3rd, That date comes from a rumor that states that Apple is going to send out invites to an iPad Mini event on October 10th with an event slated for October 17th.
We have heard October is the month for the iPad Mini and given that it reportedly has entered production, this month for a launch and November for a release are as good as any.
Apple surely wants to get the device out before the holidays and an early November release would provide that exactly.
iPad Mini Rumors
Thus far, the iPad Mini is rumored to feature a design that is smaller than the regular iPad and comes with a smaller design with iPod touch style bezels, a lower resolution screen that sits at 7.85-inches, 16GB of storage space at least, possibly a camera or two and maybe 3G or LTE data speeds.
The device will look to serve those that want iOS but don’t want a full-fledged tablet but want something bigger than a phone.
