Samsung Galaxy Note 2 U.S. Launch Date Confirmed

Published

on

While it didn’t exactly need to confirm the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 U.S. launch date, Samsung did just that today, sending out media invites for the Galaxy Note 2 World Tour set to take place on October 24th in New York City.

Earlier, Samsung’s invites only hinted at a Galaxy Note 2 unveiling on October 24th in New York City but today’s invite is confirmation that the Galaxy Note 2 U.S. launch date is in fact October 24th.

The company’s new invite does not reveal anything new other than the fact that it will indeed be the Galaxy Note 2 that will be showcased at the event.

The Galaxy Note 2 will launch on October 24th in the U.S.

AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and U.S. Cellular have all confirmed that they will be carrying the device sometime later this year with U.S. Cellular the only carrier that currently is allowing customers to order it. T-Mobile recently made the device official official and while neither have announced a release date, the press image that T-Mobile sent out may have dropped a clue.

The image shows a Galaxy Note 2 with a November 15th date, which could mean that the carrier is planning to launch the device on or around that date. Samsung originally said mid-November for the launch and that date fits perfectly. What T-Mobile did say was that the device would be out in the Fall which means it will arrive by December 21st.

Fortunately, we should know more on October 24th when Samsung takes the stage and shows off the Galaxy Note 2 in the United States for the first time.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is Samsung’s next-generation phablet device and it features a massive 5.5-inch HD display, which a tad bigger than the screen found on the original Galaxy Note. It also features 4G LTE speeds paired with a quad-core processor, two cameras, 2GB of RAM, a new S-Pen that will allow users to draw and write directly on the screen, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.

It will replace the original Galaxy Note phablet which, while doubted, went on to be a surprise success with Samsung selling millions across the globe.

Why on earth would you buy iPhones for commercial use? They’re overpriced, underpowered, with inferior features to any front-line Android phone out there. SIII’s would be the next step down from Note 2’s, and they’re an infinitely better buy than iPhones.

Your choice, of course. Everyone’s entitled to their opinions.

Agreed again. iPhone 5 is proud of turn by turn navigation…lmao…android has had that for like 2-3 years..lol They never compare their phones to competitors, only to their own previous models. what a joke!

we are preparing for a hurricane,
who cares about an oversized phone
that barely fits in your pocket,
and when in your pocket, you walk funny
