Apple’s online store is back up and with it, a host of new products including the iPad Mini and new iMac lineup that the company announced today at the event. However, only some of them are for sale at the moment while others have vanished altogether.

Earlier today, as is the norm, Apple’s online store went down ahead of the announcements that took place at Apple’s iPad Mini launch event at the California Theater in San Jose, California. Now that the event has ended, the store has come back to life and with it, availability for some products and information for others.

The new fourth-generation iPad has arrived on Apple’s website, but it’s not available just yet.

Starting with the iPad, the new iPad Mini and fourth-generation are now live on Apple’s website though neither is available to purchase just yet. Both will be available for pre-order starting on October 26th with a shipping date for the Wi-Fi models set for November 2nd. The fourth-generation iPad has seemingly replaced the third-generation iPad which has vanished completely from Apple’s online store and is now only available refurbished.

The only iPad that’s currently available to buy is the iPad 2.

Also unavailable, but live on the site is Apple’s new iMac lineup which features a 21-inch iMac and 27-inch iMac. Apple still hasn’t announced specific release dates for either but it does say that the 21-inch model will be released in November and the 27-inch iMac will arrive in December. We imagine that both will be available before the holiday shopping season ends.

The new 13-inch MacBook Pro is now available to purchase.

Two of the products that Apple announced today at the event are indeed available however. Both the new Mac Mini and the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display are both available and in-stock at the moment. Those who order them today will see them arrive in just a couple of days after purchase.

So, of the five new products announced at the event, only two are available to order today with the rest arriving in time for consumers to purchase before the holidays arrive.

Do you have an idea why the IPad 3rd generation disappeared from the Apple’s store? I have the idea that the improvements made on the iPad 4th generations aren’t enough when comparing the two models.
