Samsung Galaxy S III

Verizon's Samsung Galaxy S III remains an optimal choice for those looking to get on Verizon's 4G LTE network with an Android-powered phone.

The device features a spacious 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display, a fast dual-core processor paired with a ton of RAM, good cameras, a well-done design that offers sleek curves and good build quality and an upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean that should just be around the bend.

Once it's upgraded with Jelly Bean, the Galaxy S III, already a fantastic device, will just get that much better. Believe us, Android 4.1 is a huge improvement over Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Verizon sells the Galaxy S III starting at $199.99 for a 16GB model while Amazon sells it for $100 on-contract.

Note II all the way. Nothing touches the Note II’s feature list, and with a 3100mAh battery (removable), the best screen of any smartphone (due to its sheer size), AND a jaw-dropping hardware, it’s definitely got my upgrade for this year. It leaves every other phone out there in the dust.
