The Galaxy Note 2 is available on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and US Cellular starting at $299. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 features a 5.5-inch HD display and includes the S Pen, a stylus that controls the custom version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The S Pen includes features like Air View which allows users to see more about an item without tapping it and a quick launch notes app that opens when the S Pen is removed from the phone.

All of these Galaxy Note 2 cases include openings to access the S Pen, and unlike competing phablets, there is no need for a separate spot on the case to hold the S Pen.

This list of Galaxy Note 2 cases will be updated as more cases are announced and come to market.

OtterBox Defender Galaxy Note 2 Case

The OtterBox Galaxy note 2 Defender Series case offers two layers of protection to keep the Galaxy Note 2 safe from drops, and is one of the best Galaxy Note 2 cases for tough environments.

OtterBox uses a polycarbonate case that snaps on to the phone providing a hard shell. A silicone cover snaps on to this shell to double the protection and offer better grip. Rounding out the protection is a built in screen protector on the front of the Note 2.

The Defender Series case adds bulk, so users may appreciate the included holster that can keep the phone attached to a belt or outside of a pocket. The Otterbox Defender is not available on OtterBox.com yet, but AT&T is selling it for $60 with delivery in 14 days.

The OtterBox Galaxy Note 2 case should fit most U.S. variants of the Note 2, even the Verizon Galaxy Note 2 with a branded home button.

Same happened to me, but my drop was even less than a foot. I think my drop was sbout six inches an it shattered the screen. The phone is amazing buy thr screen is terrible. Shame they charge so much for a phone with such a horrible screen that can’t last a drop from a small height.
