The newest Angry Birds game, Angry Birds Star Wars will come to iPhone and Android on November 8, and Rovio is finally showing off gameplay of the game.

In the latest trailer for the Star Wars collaboration Rovio shows a few seconds of gameplay footage. The trailer show two birds, the red Luke bid and the pink bird dressed as Princess Leia. The two birds act similarly to other Angry Birds games but with a small twist.

The iconic slingshot is still present in the Angry Birds Star Wars, but every bird seems to have a new special power. The red bird dressed as Luke Skywalker has a lightsaber which lets him cut through obstacles to get at the bad piggies.

The pink bird dressed as Princess Leia has some sort of gun that pulls objects closer to her. She uses the gun to pull an AT-AT over in a Hoth-themed level. As it topples, the AT-AT shoots a laser to knock out even more bad piggies dressed with Storm Trooper and Darth Vader helmets.

The game will surely have other Star Wars characters and birds including Han Solo, Chewbacca, and maybe even Lando Carlissian along with the yellow bird, black bird, and blue bird. Rovio hasn’t shown any of those characters in the game yet, but there are some images of them on the Angry Birds Tumblr.

Angry Birds Star Wars will come to a variety of platforms including iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle Fire, Windows 8, and Mac on November 7.

The Angry Birds Tumblr also has a logo for Windows Phone, though it’s not clear if the game will come to the platform on November 8. Windows Phones users still don’t have access to the last Angry Birds games, Angry Birds Space. That game will come to the platform soon, but it’s not clear when.
