The 5 Best Android Smartphones [November, 2012]

Published

on

The month of October is just about over and fortunately for those looking to grab a new Android smartphone, it was extremely fruitful in terms of new Android smartphone launches. We saw the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, the Motorola Droid RAZR HD and of course, the new Nexus phone, the Nexus 4. And while those certainly give potential customers a lot of options, it makes a decision on a new phone that much tougher.

Last month, we recommended that you wait for November if you could because of the launches that populated the month. Those of you who did were rewarded with a hefty helping of pricing and release date information as well as actual launches. While those certainly will make a decision tough, at least the devices now have that information available so you can go over it and make a great decision.

We fully expect two other devices to launch this month as well, the HTC One X+ for AT&T and the HTC DLX for Verizon, but at this point, neither of them has an official release date. That means that neither is eligible for this list, but we certainly recommend keeping them in mind if you’re looking for a new phone this month.

If you can’t wait to include those amongst your already numerous amount of options, there are plenty of high-quality Android smartphones that are on the market already and if not, are slated to arrive in November.

Falling out of contention this month is the HTC One X which, while still featuring a fantastic display, is about to be replaced. And, for the first time, we have two LG devices in the mix.

That being said, here are the five Android devices that we consider to be the absolute best on the market right now for the month of November, 2012.

Samsung Galaxy S III

The Samsung Galaxy S III, even after being out for months, remains one of the best Android smartphones on the market. And now that the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean roll outs have begun, it will only improve making this a device that should on the lists of those looking to snag a new smartphone.

With its massive 4.8-inch HD display, speedy dual-core processor, good cameras, and availability on all five major U.S. carriers, the Galaxy S III remains an Android force to be reckoned with.

It also helps that its price continues to drop as it is currently available from prices ranging from $100 to $150 at Amazon.

The DNA wasn’t released until the 21st. They likely couldn’t get one to test/compare in time for this article dated the 29th.

Sorry, looked more closely at the information and realized I should have said the dna wasn’t released until Nov 21st or so. This article was Oct 29th,so the dna couldn’t have been included.

btw these places should allow commenters to edit their previous posts. Would have made this unnecessary..
