Verizon’s upcoming 5-inch HTC Droid DNA leaked out again over the weekend, this time in the most revealing image yet and an image which outs exactly what it will look when HTC and Verizon take the stage this week to announce the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 competitor.
The notorious evleaks Twitter account produced an image of the Verizon Droid DNA in all of its glory showcasing the device that we expect the two companies to announce tomorrow, November 13th in New York.
Depicted is the same 5-inch phablet device that we’ve seen rumored for the past few weeks and which we expect to launch to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on Verizon’s 4G LTE network.
In the image, we again see the Droid red eye, which will be shown whenever the device boots up, and we also see where the Verizon branding will fit in on the very top of the device. On the back, we see the Beats Audio logo and the Verizon 4G LTE logo. And best of all, we get a clear cut look at the Droid DNA’s design which takes heavily from the Droid Incredible line of handsets.
The 5-inch Droid DNA is expected to arrive this week to compete with the Galaxy Note 2 though we still don’t know exactly when it will launch. November 20th may be its release date on Verizon according to an unboxing date but we’ve also heard that it may be released in December. A source, who provided evidence, revealed to use that December was the month that Verizon, at least originally, would be launching the Droid DNA.
These dates are always subject to change but the evidence we saw did point to December as being the release month for the Droid DNA. Fortunately, we should find out tomorrow when the companies announce the device.
The Droid DNA is rumored to have a 5-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor., 2GB of RAM, 8MP camera, and no stylus.
