The Galaxy S4, Samsung’s next Galaxy smartphone is again rumored for a February 2013 launch at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The Korea Times reports that the Galaxy S4 will launch in February at Mobile World Congress, not at CES 2013. This is the third source to point to a Galaxy S4 launch at MWC following up on a leaks in November.

While the Galaxy S4 release date remains unconfirmed, with multiple sources pointing to a February announcement, we could see the Galaxy S4 in the hands of U.S. consumers by mid-2013.  We’ve also heard rumors the Galaxy S4 will launch in April, so there is clearly a large release window at play.

Samsung is known for launching Galaxy smartphones at Unpacked events on the eve or first day of a popular trade show.

The Galaxy S3 launched in May 2012, so if this rumor is true it marks an earlier release for Samsung’s flagship phone. With rumors of an iPhone 5S release in June at WWDC 2013, Samsung may plan to get the Galaxy S4 out before Apple releases the new iPhone.

Rumors point to a Galaxy S4 with a 4.99-inch 1080P HD display that may include flexible or unbreakable screen tech, a first for a production Galaxy S phone. The video above shows a prototype unbreakable display from Samsung repeatedly hit with a hammer.

Inside, it’s rumored that the Galaxy S4 will run a quad-core processor, possibly the Exynos 5440.We’ve also heard that the Galaxy S4 will sport a 13MP camera, hopefully enough to step up to competition from Apple.

It’s almost a given that the Galaxy S4 will feature Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface and sharing options over NFC and WiFi Direct. One report claims the Galaxy S4 will ship with Android 5.0, Key Lime Pie on board. Google I/O is set for May 2013, so the timing makes this a possibility.
