At CES Vizio Unveiled its new 10-inch Android tablet running the latest Nvidia Tegra 4 processor, according to The Verge.

The new Vizio 10-inch tablet doesn’t yet have a name, but it does have some announced specs that sound very similar to the Google Nexus 10. The 10.1-inch tablet has the same 2560×1600 resolution as the Samsung tablet, which is the same as the resolution in the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina.

Vizio will also include 32GB of storage and two unspecified cameras in the new 10-inch tablet.Vizio 10-inch Android Tablet with Tegra 4

The company showed the 10-inch tablet running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, but that tablet will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean by the time it ships. Unfortunately, Vizio wouldn’t say when the tablet will come to market.

Like other devices from Vizio, the 10-inch tablet will run stock Android with no extra skin or UI laid over it.

According to The Verge, the Vizio 10-inch tablet is incredibly light compared to other tablets of its size. The publication said the device is so light they wondered if the unit they handled had any battery inside to power it. The rounded soft-touch back also helps makes the new Vizio tablet feel smaller than other 10-inch tablets, like the Nexus 10 and the full-sized iPad, even though it isn’t.

With the new Tegra 4 processor the Vizio 10-inch tablet will likely perform most tasks much faster than any other tablet.

At its press conference Nvidia claimed the Tegra 4 is up to 3.5 times faster than any other mobile processor on the market thanks to its four A15 CPU cores and 72 graphics cores. The company showed a Tegra 4 tablet like the Vizio 10-inch tablet running through 25 high traffic websites in about half the time as the Samsung Nexus 10 as an example.

The Tegra 4 in the new Vizio tablet will also let it take HDR photos faster than other devices, as well as take HDR video in real-time.
