At this point, the announcements that will arrive at RIM’s upcoming BlackBerry 10 launch date on January 30th won’t come as much of a surprise to anyone. That’s because BlackBerry 10 and its devices, including the BlackBerry Z10, have leaked out numerous times in recent days, including a leak today that shows off the BlackBerry Z10 versus the iPhone 5 in photos and on video.

So far, RIM hasn’t been able to keep BlackBerry 10 or its devices much of a secret. Earlier today, we saw BlackBerry 10 detailed in photos and we also saw the BlackBerry Z10’s possible price leak out. And on the heels of those, we might have our most intriguing BlackBerry 10 leak yet, one that shows off the upcoming BlackBerry Z10, otherwise known as the BlackBerry L-Series, pitted against the iPhone 5.

Austrian site Telekom-Presse, which evidently already has access to the BlackBerry Z10, has pitted the device against one of the most iconic smartphones of 2012, Apple’s iPhone 5. In the comparison, we see the iPhone 5 shown next to the BlackBerry Z10 and we also get a video tour, which is unfortunately in German with English subtitles, showing the two device side-by-side.

And while the video compares the hardware between the iPhone 5 and the BlackBerry 10, we also see BlackBerry 10 pitted against iOS 6, the software that powers Apple’s latest smartphone. The browsers, home screens and more are detailed, giving those who might be caught between buying an iPhone and a new BlackBerry, some evidence to consider before making a choice.

The BlackBerry Z10 compared to the iPhone 5 in terms of thickness.

As expected, the BlackBerry Z10 is bigger than the iPhone 5, though its display is rumored to only be a bit bigger than Apple’s smartphone. The BlackBerry Z10 is expected to feature a 4.2-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 768, 16GB of memory and according to the cases we saw at CES and its FCC filing, a microSD card slot for expanded storage space, two cameras, NFC support, Bluetooth and access to 4G. It’ll also have an 1,800 mAh battery to keep it powered.

The device is expected to arrive on January 30th at RIM’s BlackBerry 10 launch event, and the company confirmed to Gotta Be Mobile that it will be released shortly thereafter though we don’t know specifics or carriers.

AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon have all confirmed the BlackBerry Z10 and thus far, it has shown that will almost certainly be heading to Verizon while the others remain out of the picture for the time being.

With the mixed reactions that iPhone 5 is getting, Blackberry could have the upper hand here.
