Galaxy Note Jelly Bean Update Could Roll Out in March

Published

on

The Samsung Galaxy Note, which was promised a swift update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update in August, is still without its upgrade. However, it appears the software update should be coming soon as yet another official card has fallen into place, hinting at a release in the near future, potentially in March.

Back in August, Samsung announced that three Jelly Bean updates in particular would be coming soon. Specifically, it revealed that it had plans to roll out the updates for the Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 10.1 and the Galaxy Note in speedy fashion. So far, the company rolled out the updates for the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 – though we only consider the Galaxy S3’s Jelly Bean upgrade to have been speedy – and Galaxy Note owners are still waiting for the update to arrive.

The Galaxy Note Jelly Bean update could roll out soon.

Based on the evidence, believe that the Galaxy Note Android 4.1 Jelly Bean roll out will come soon. Previously, we saw Samsung UK post information about the Galaxy Note Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to its website, a strange maneuver if the update wasn’t close. Canadian carrier Rogers also believes that it will be rolling out its Galaxy Note Android 4.1 update in late February. And now, we have some timing from Samsung itself.

According to Samsung Ukraine, by way of SamMobile, the Galaxy Note Jelly Bean update will be rolling out to the international version of the Galaxy Note (N7000) in March. And specifically, on March 1st.

Of course, that date is obviously subject to change and we’ve seen arms of Samsung mess up upgrade timing in the past, so by no means is that any sort of confirmation of a March roll out. In fact, we could even see the software start rolling out in some regions earlier. Remember, Samsung rolls these updates out extremely slowly.

The Galaxy Note Jelly Bean update is listed for March by Samsung Ukraine.

Case in point, the Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean update which rolled out last month but has only rolled out to a few regions including Spain.

Despite the lack of confidence in this date, we do believe that the Galaxy Note Jelly Bean update should come soon and both February and March are looking like solid candidates for release.

The release date is being pushed from the month of November(2012).
The editor might have got confused with the year.
I hope it will not be pushed to 2014.

It’s not gonna come until Galaxy Note stays in the market. Samsung is waiting for the device to grow older.

I will not buy another Samsung Product. Samsung is being dishonest by holding back updates. This is just to push people into buying newer models, despite having promised quick updates.
