With its large 720p display, its speedy processor, good cameras, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software, the Galaxy S3 might be aging but it's a great choice for those that don't need next-generation specs.

It also helps that it's extremely cheap, and is consistently being upgraded by Samsung, the most recent being a Premium Suite upgrade that brought several powerful new features to compliment Android.

    Galaxy S3 too fugly/cheap-looking.
    Galaxy Note 2 too bulky/awkward,
iPhone 5 screen too small and features are too limited,
    Razr Maxx too weak hardware,
HTC DNA has a low storage and is just plain weird with that toy-like design and all the red accents. :/
