Samsung Galaxy S4 Screen Size and CPU Rumored, Again
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is no stranger to the rumor mill and it appears that we have yet another possible leak today which seems to hint at the upcoming device’s screen size, processor and software.
Samsung’s Galaxy S4 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year and over the past few weeks, there have been not shortage of Galaxy S4 rumors. In fact, consumers thinking about buying the Galaxy S4, the Galaxy S3′s rumored replacement, have been treated to nothing short of an avalanche of possibilities.
Today, we’ve seen yet another rumor pop up in the form of a purported spec leak from Android Catotic, an Italian language site, that has unearthed what appears to be a specification sheet for the Galaxy S4.
Included in the document, which is from Mirae Asset Securities, are details about other Samsung devices like the Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Note 2.
The document lists out several rumored Galaxy S4 specifications including its rumored 5-inch 1080p display, Exynos 5440 processor, 2GB of RAM, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. These are all features that we’ve heard rumored in the past so it could be that they just took the rumors and placed them into the sheet.
It’s also possible that they have information that hasn’t been made public.
Also of note is the fact that the release is listed as March instead of in April, May or June when the Galaxy S4 is expected to arrive. It could be that this is some kind of a placeholder or it could be referring to its launch date as no specific release date has been rumored. That said, it should be taken with an extreme grain of salt.
The contents of the document aren’t anything outlandish though. The Galaxy S4 is widely expected to feature a 4.99-5-inch FHD 1080p display, a quad-core processor potentially the Exynos 5 Octa or a Qualcomm SoC, at least in the carrier variants, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
It’s also rumored to be keeping a similar design to the Galaxy S4.
Rumors suggest a Galaxy S4 launch date of March 15th or March 22nd at a Samsung Unpacked event though Samsung has not confirmed the device or any launch event.
