The Samsung Galaxy S4 features a new 13MP rear facing camera, a clear upgrade from the Samsung Galaxy S3, and now that some of these devices are out in the wild we have a few more Samsung Galaxy S4 video samples.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 doesn’t feature an UltraPixel camera like the HTC One, but it can deliver some added features thanks to the Galaxy S4 software.

Previously we shared a set of Samsung Galaxy S4 vs. iPhone 5 vs Galaxy S3 video samples that offered a side by side comparison of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and some of the best smartphones of 2013, and now we found another set of videos that show what the Samsung Galaxy S4 camera is capable of.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Video Samples

The following Samsung Galaxy S4 video samples are best viewed in HD to judge the quality of the Galaxy S4 camera. Unlike the earlier samples, these are full screen 1080P so it’s possible to get a better feeling of the Galaxy S4 camera.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Video Sample – Tripod

In the Samsung Galaxy S4 sample above we get a look at a 1080P video clip taken on the Galaxy S4 next to a busy road. The clip shows how well the Galaxy S4 can capture moving targets while keeping the entire picture in focus. We also get a better listen to the Samsung Galaxy S4 microphone which has trouble filtering out the wind noise. This sample comes from GSM Arena.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Sample Video – Dual Shot

The Samsung Galaxy S4 features a Dual Shot feature that captures video from the front and rear facing cameras at the same time. The Galaxy S4 can overlay the front facing camera on top of footage from the rear facing camera. Users can pick the placement of the overlaid footage and an outline for it.

The Dual Shot Galaxy S4 feature makes it easy to include yourself in a video that you plan to share with family or friends  or could keep you in the shot while explaining a problem to a co-worker. This sample comes from Phone Arena.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Sample Video – Slow Motion

The Samsung Galaxy S4 can also record in slow motion, though ti cuts the resolution fo the video dramatically. The Galaxy S4 sample video above shows slow motion, though slow cars are not the best way to show off this feature. This Samsung Galaxy S4 feature could come in handy while recording sports, a kid playing or a pet trick. This sample is also from Phone Arena.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Sample Video – 1080P

A final Samsung Galaxy S4 video sample also comes from Phone Arena, and offers a look at the 1080P HD capabilities of the Galaxy S4. This sample shows a lot of motion and a user panning around at a busy intersection which gives a look at how the average user might shoot video, unlike the earlier sample that appears to use a tripod.

Some great samples thanks. It all validates my decision to add the GS4 to my WishPlz account ( https://bit.ly/XRexQQ incase you are interested ). I’d love to see some more direct comparisons.
