AT&T Galaxy Note Deal Drops Price to Under $1

Published

on

For those that aren’t enamored with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on AT&T and are comfortable with getting an older device, AT&T might have a deal worth looking at as the carrier, in a one day sale, has dropped the price of the original Samsung Galaxy Note down to less than a dollar.

Since the end of last year, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has been one of the more popular Android devices on the market. With its large HD display, quad-core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software and improved ergonomic S Pen that comes with a host of apps, the Galaxy Note 2 is worth taking a look at. However, for those that don’t need all of that horsepower, there is also another device taking a peek at, especially today.

The Samsung Galaxy Note is a mere $.99 through AT&T, for today only.

That device is, of course, the original Samsung Galaxy Note which debuted on AT&T in early 2012 and made its way, for a short time, to T-Mobile. And while that device has been discounted before in other places, it has fallen to its cheapest price yet at AT&T, at least for the day.

AT&T is hosting a sale on the original Samsung Galaxy Note wherein the carrier has dropped the price down to a mere $.99 cents, less than a dollar. That price will require a contract but for those that are unconcerned about having powerful hardware or the latest software, a new contract with an older phone may not be a big deal.

The AT&T Galaxy Note is still a very capable phone.

Despite getting replaced, the Galaxy Note is still a very capable phone and it will be even better when AT&T decides to roll out the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to its model. So far, signs have been increasing bleak, to the point that it’s currently unknown when the device may be upgraded.

Again, this is a one day sale which means that it will last today and then it will be gone. And once it’s gone, the price of the original Galaxy Note will move back up to its usual $199.99 on-contract price tag.
