As expected, U.S. Cellular has finally confirmed many of the Samsung Galaxy S4 release date details that consumers have been after ever since the device went up for pre-order several days ago.

U.S. Cellular, a regional carrier in the United States, has confirmed to Gotta Be Mobile that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will go on sale, online, on April 26th with an arrival in stores on April 30th. This is the first time that the carrier has offered specific release date details for the Galaxy S4 and it comes amidst confusion about the device’s arrival, punctuated by misinformation coming from customer service representatives.

What’s more is that the carrier has confirmed details for those that pre-ordered the device as well. U.S. Cellular says that pre-orders will start heading out to consumers on April 26th, far earlier than the two to four week time frame that the carrier had offered those that placed an early order.

Obviously, this is fantastic news not only for those who ordered the Galaxy S4 early but also for those that were hoping that the carrier would still be able to release the phone in April as promised. And while April 30th may be the last day of the month, it’s still within the time frame that the carrier announced.

This means that the U.S. Cellular Galaxy S4 will go on sale before any of the other carriers in the U.S. offer the Galaxy S4. AT&T and Sprint will offer it online starting on April 27th, T-Mobile pushed its online sales back to April 29th and Verizon won’t be releasing the Galaxy S4 until May 30th, far later than any of the other carriers.

Like some of the other carriers, U.S. Cellular will be selling the Galaxy S4 for $199.99 on-contract though for those that pre-order, it will also be throwing in a free S View Flip cover, something that no other carrier is offering.

Of course, U.S. Cellular is far more limited in terms of its network reach though it says by the end of the year, 81% of its consumer base will be blanketed with 4G LTE speeds.

Any idea on how long it will take for the pre-orders to get the consumers who ordered them (shipping time?)
