Android 4.3 is still unofficial, but already we’re seeing pieces of information emerge. Last week, we heard that the HTC One Nexus would be getting Android 4.3 at some point, again possibly in July, and now, that same insider, @LLabTooFeR, is back with more information about another HTC device, the HTC One.

The HTC One Android 4.3 update will roll out at some point it seems though the noted HTC leakster and developer of the popular Maximus ROM is not sure as to when it will arrive. He does note the obvious though, that the HTC One Nexus, which will be arriving on June 26th with Android 4.2, will get the Android 4.3 update before the Sense model.

Nexus smartphones get their updates straight from Google while the regular HTC One will see its software pass, extensively, though the hands of HTC who will need to test the software with its Sense 5 user interface. The HTC One Nexus, or Google Edition, will not have Sense 5 on board when it arrives on the Google Play Store.

Currently, the HTC One sits on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, an older version of Google’s software. However, it should get an update to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean this month, though a specific release date is unknown.

HTC does not release detailed software roll out information ahead of time any more so we don’t expect to hear about the roll out until it begins.

FYI: Android 4.2 is out on international devices, and most HTC One sense based ROMS have incorporated it (for those who opted to root)
