The 5 Best T-Mobile Smartphones [June, 2013]

Published

on

While the beginning of the year saw very little in terms of new releases for carriers like T-Mobile, the past few months have been very kind as manufacturers have pushed out their new flagship devices to consumers in the United States. These are exciting times, particularly at T-Mobile which now offers a competitive high-speed network, affordable data plans and of course, an arsenal of high-end smartphones.

The past few years have not been kind of T-Mobile. The nation’s fourth-largest carrier has struggled to keep up with its rivals as they made the shift from 3G to 4G LTE data speeds. Not helping matters was the fact that the carrier also was without one of the most popular, most iconic smartphones in existence, Apple’s iPhone.

The carrier began hemorrhaging customers and ultimately was sold to AT&T in an ill-fated deal that was blocked, leaving the carrier no choice but to go at it alone.

In the past few months, T-Mobile has managed to transform itself into a viable contender launching a 4G LTE network, shifting away from on-contract agreements for devices and of course, deploying the iPhone 5 to consumers in the United States. The carrier has also helped its cause by introducing a number of high-end devices in recent weeks, adding to a smartphone lineup that is both diverse and enticing.

Thanks to T-Mobile’s vast array of devices, consumers who are thinking about heading to the UnCarrier, have a difficult choice to make. With the iPhone 5 now available and an assortment of Android and Windows Phone devices on shelves, choosing a new smartphone on T-Mobile isn’t easy.

Of course, like all carriers, T-Mobile has its standout devices, devices that should be at the top of any shopping list. Here are the devices that we believe represent the five best T-Mobile smartphones for the month of June, 2013.

With its gorgeous 4-inch Retina Display, capable processor, solid rear camera, elegant industrial design and of course, a future upgrade to iOS 7, the iPhone 5 is a top-notch choice for those that wish to keep hold of a device for quite a long time.

Apple tends to keep its iPhones updated longer than most Android smartphones making it a superb choice now, almost a year after its release.
