For a limited time, T-Mobile has dropped the prices and the up front costs on three of its big name smartphones in the Samsung Galaxy S4, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the now LTE-friendly, Samsung Galaxy S3.

In an effort to stay competitive this summer, T-Mobile decided to slash the prices on two of its best Android smartphones in the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 2. While the deals aren’t huge discounts from their previous price points, they are still discounts that are worth considering.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 up front cost has been knocked down to $99.99 instead of $149.99 and the total cost of the phone has dropped from $629.99 to $579.99.  That’s a $50 discount over the full price of the Galaxy S4 that has been advertised since the device landed back in April of this year.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 have seen their prices dip at T-Mobile.

The Galaxy Note 2 also has seen a drop with its down payment dropping to $169.99 down from an original price of $200 down. Its full retail price has dropped just a pinch, moving to $649.99 from $679.99. It’s not a huge difference but it’s one that potential buyers can appreciate.

As for the Galaxy S3, which recently got upgraded with LTE, its up front price has been dropped to $49.99 and $529.99 in full, a discount from its original price point of $69.99 and $549.99.

The Galaxy S4 price has also dropped at T-Mobile for a limited time.

T-Mobile will be running the promotion from now until July 12th, giving prospective buyers quite a bit of time to decide between these devices and the various other smartphones that the Magenta carrier has out on shelves.

The carrier also appears ready to add to its fantastic lineup of smartphones by delivering the Sony Xperia Z flagship, possibly as soon as tomorrow. So, with the price cuts on the Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy S3 and the Xperia Z likely on the way, T-Mobile is setting itself up for an extremely good-looking summer, at least from the perspective of those looking to buy something new.
