Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Said to Be in the Wild, Again

Published

on

Another day, another leaked photo proclaiming itself to be evidence of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in the wild well ahead of its  rumored launch date at IFA 2013 in Berlin in September.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has been rumored for months though consumers shouldn’t expect it to arrive for several months as Samsung typically launches its Galaxy Note variants at the IFA trade show in Berlin. Thus far, all signs point to the rumored 5.9-inch Galaxy Note 3 touching down at some point in September.

Galaxy Note 3 specs have leaked out, pointing to a larger, 13MP equipped, Galaxy S4 inspired Galaxy Note variant. And while those specifications are likely close to the real deal, photos of the Galaxy Note 3 that have emerged recently likely don’t show off the device itself. Already, we’ve seen several photos proclaiming themselves to be the Galaxy Note 3 and today, we’re seeing yet another photo, this time out of China.

This is alleged to be the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

TechKiddy unearthed an image of a device it is claiming could be the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The image shows a device that is said to be a Galaxy Note 3 prototype that showcases a device that evidently has a 5.9-inch display and certainly has rounded corners. It also appears to have a metal band around the sides though it could be faux-metal like the material around the Galaxy S4.

Again, as with all of the other leaked photos, this should be taken with an extreme grain of salt. Samsung may not have a tight lid on the specifications of its rumored products but when it comes to the actual designs, those typically don’t emerge until just before an announcement. So anything leaking out right now, this far in advance, likely is something that was scrapped in testing, is in a shell to protect its identity, or is fake. It’s impossible to say what this latest image is.

What it’s likely not though is the Samsung Galaxy Note 3  in the wild, as it likely won’t emerge until August if Samsung is indeed planning to launch the new phablet in September in Germany.

Can nobody see that this is Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3? Would a prototype have a screen guard and a cover as well? What the hell is wrong with every blog?

I was thinking that right before I looked at the comments. Honestly, people don’t put the pieces together.

IKR? This is why certain blogging sites still don’t publish any photo as soon as they get hands on it because they have a certain reputation and definitely “smartness”.

I hate to dispute this as bad as I want the Note 3…but this is definitely the 6.3 Galaxy Mega…I have owned my Mega for about 10 days and this is identical to my Mega, except they have a case on theirs. Unless the hardware inside is the Exynos 5420 or S800 and beefed up specs expected for N3…this is definitely the Galaxy Mega…sorry guys, fingers crossed but its not looking like we’re going to be getting our Note 3 anytime sooner than September/October.

I just want to note that I wish Samsung would add a detachable bluetooth ear phone on their phablets. One that is ready to use upon detachment and is placed within the contour shape on the side of the phablet body.
It will not need a lot of battery juice unlike the typical earphone because once you’re done talking with it, it will go right back to the phablet and be recharged. When a typical earphone is being recharged you are recharging its usage calling time and also its resting time (rest times tend to be longer at most times). With the detachable earphone idea you are only recharging the usage calling time which translates to less battery power and less time needed to recharge back in replacing the juice that was used up. Having said that you will not have an issue of having an uncharged earphone and don’t have to spend extra time recharging it as well and does not have to find a place to recharge it. If Samsung maintains about having a removable battery on their phablets then one can simply choose to bring an extra battery.  In the mean time the ongoing advancements is trending towards less power drain capability type of hardwares and more juiced up battery types.  Not to mention phablets can accommodate a larger piece of battery which can hold more power.  Having mention trends – there’s more texting now than phone calling. With regard to uncomfortableness on the ear usage this will get better during trial and error in the development stage – and by the way the earphone will not be on your ear at most times as it will rest back on the phablet when not in use. When competition kicks in you’ll see several awesome choices instead. There will be competition with this feature especially when it start to be applied to laptops (business laptops too) and who knows what other type of machines. LG have done it on a cell phone but it was not as advanced as it could be today. Samsung could revive this earphone feature and use it on a phablet (which is more pertinent). Samsung did a good job reviving the stylus pen now dubbed the S-Pen. I would love to see them do the same on the earphone. You won’t look like a geek anymore.
