Motorola is rumored to be hosting a press event later this month and two stars of the show could be the Motorola Droid Ultra and the Motorola Droid MAXX, both of which have leaked out on camera recently offering consumers a glimpse at what to expect from two of Motorola’s new smartphones.

While much of the focus has been on the new Moto X, Motorola’s upcoming and customizable smartphone, the company appears set to debut several other devices including a small Droid Ultra M, a Droid Ultra, and a device that is being called Motorola Droid MAXX. Details on these devices remain unofficial but they are coming into view ahead of a rumored July 11th Motorola event.

The Droid Ultra appears to be the successor to the Droid RAZR HD and thanks to leaks from The Unlockr and a XDA-Developer Forums user named xavierk75, we now know what to expect from Motorola’s new flagship. The device appears to be coming in both white and black and according to whispers, it will feature a large display possibly 5-inches, a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and a 10MP camera that should take quality photos, even in low-light ones where previous Droid devices have faltered.

Motorola’s Droid Ultra is said to be slimmer than the Droid MAXX and it appears headed to Verizon’s 4G LTE network like the other two devices and the Moto X.

The Droid MAXX has leaked out in a press image as well, courtesy of @evleaks though its details remain scarce. If the device is anything like the relationship between the Droid RAZR HD and Droid RAZR MAXX HD, we expect them to be similar, feature-wise, expect for a larger battery on the MAXX, and as we’ve heard, a slimmer frame.

Like the Droid Ultra, the Droid MAXX (or Droid Ultra MAXX) appears headed to Verizon though release dates for these devices remain unknown. Though given that a launch is expected soon, it’s possible that we could see these devices make their debuts sooner rather than later and replace the current models that Verizon is currently selling.
