HTC One Deal Delivers Knockout Price

Those looking to snag a new HTC One in the near future are in luck as Amazon, a retailer that is notorious for undercutting carrier pricing, has dropped both the AT&T HTC One and Sprint HTC One down to a mere $50 on-contract for new customers.

When the HTC One first arrived in the United States back in April, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile all offered it with competitive pricing. However, those prices certainly weren’t the best prices for the HTC One as retailers like Amazon immediately offered discounts for the HTC One. At first, the discounts were just a few dollars. However now, months after the HTC One’s release, the prices are getting close to rock bottom.

While the HTC One on-contract price through AT&T and Sprint remains stagnant, Amazon is offering deep discounts on both devices with the retailer showing prices of $50 on-contract for both the AT&T and Sprint models. This is a $150 dollar discount over the pricing offered through both retailers though Sprint offers it at $99 for those bringing a new number.

Those looking to buy the device using an upgrade will need to fork over $99 which is still a big discount over pricing elsewhere. Amazon pricing often fluctuates so there is no telling if this is a permanent price drop or a temporary one.

Ffor those in the market for a new smartphone, this is a deal that should be on the radar as its a premier price tag for a premier smartphone. In fact, the HTC One is not only one of the best smartphones of 2013, its arguably one of the best smartphones ever made.

The HTC One on both Sprint and AT&T offers users a 4.7-inch 1080p display, quad-core processor, Ultrapixel camera, Android 4.1 for now and the new Sense 5. Both devices should be getting Android 4.2 at some point in the future though release dates are unknown.

AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile will be joined by the Verizon HTC One at some point though a release date is unknown.
