Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Late to Android 4.2 Leak Party

It’s clear that Samsung is hard at work on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean updates for several of its big-name devices including the Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 8.0 and Galaxy Note 2, however, while the update has leaked for Galaxy S3 and now the Galaxy Note 8.0, the Galaxy Note 2 is late to the Android 4.2 leak party.

Samsung has yet to confirm Android 4.2 Jelly Bean updates for its older devices, instead, allowing leaks do the talking for it. Leaks have shown that the Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.2 update will carry features from the Galaxy S4 and that it will be out sometime in the third quarter of this year, meaning, somewhere in between the months of July and September.

It’s not clear if this is the final version of the software but those looking to take the plunge early can now do so if they so choose. The leak is a sign that Samsung is hard at work on the update and it could mean that we see it relatively soon, given the polished nature of the update.
