Verizon HTC One Pre-Orders Arrive with Price Cut

Published

on

The Verizon HTC One may not arrive until next week but that doesn’t mean that prospective buyers can’t order the highly anticipated device right now as retailer Wirefly is currently taking pre-orders for Verizon’s HTC One with a price tag that is $50 cheaper than the carrier’s $199.99 asking price.

Verizon’s HTC One was announced earlier today with an August 22nd release date and a $199.99 price tag. The announcement comes several months after the carrier first confirmed the device for arrival. Antsy consumers who simply can’t wait any longer and can’t wait until August 22nd will be happy to know that Wirefly is currently taking pre-orders for the device.

The retailer is offering up the Verizon HTC One for $150 for new customers and upgraders alike, a price that checks in with a $50 price cut over the $199.99 price through Verizon. Wirefly’s main competitor, Amazon, still doesn’t have the Verizon HTC One for sale though it will likely start carrying sometime in the near future.

Those placing an order through Wirefly will find that the retailer offers the device with free shipping and a 30 day pre-order price guarantee which means that buyers will get a refund if the price drops any lower than that within the first 30 days of its launch.

Verizon’s HTC One isn’t the cheapest device out there, the HTC One variants on AT&T and Sprint command some pretty low price tags at the moment but $150 is still going to be attractive to those who have been waiting since early June for this smartphone to arrive.

The device will be coming with all of the perks of the other HTC One models including a 4.7-inch 1080p display, quad-core processor, Ultrapixel camera, full metal design and Sense 5. It will however also be coming with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, software that the AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile variants do not have quite yet.

so what does pre-order mean? when will Wirefly actually ship the phones? Wirefly also is tacking on a $30 upgrade fee so really their price is $180, who knows when you will get it, instead of the in store or direct order from Verizon for $199.

VERIZON CHARGES THE $30.00 UPGRADE FEE NO MATTER HOW YOU ORDER THE PHONE , SALE OR NO SALE PRICE .
