The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be heading to the five largest carriers in the United States including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon Wireless in October.

Samsung today confirmed the Galaxy Note 3 for arrival on September 25th in more than 140 countries. The country says that countries that don’t get it on September 25th will get it by the end of October. The company later confirmed that the United States would get the device at some point in October though it didn’t say when.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will hit five U.S. carriers.

The company confirmed the Galaxy Note 3 for five big name carriers in the United States including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon. All five carriers offered the Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy S4, something that seemed to point to them snagging the Galaxy Note 3.

It’s still not clear when these carriers will offer the Galaxy Note 3, Samsung is careful to say that it will be in October, but we expect the carriers to make their plans known closer to that month.

Historically, we’ve seen Samsung confirm release dates ahead of carriers only to see carriers be slow to confirm specific release date and pricing. U.S. carriers usually remain mum on specifics until much closer to their release dates. In the past, we haven’t seen the Galaxy Note series land on smaller carriers so it’s unclear if the Galaxy Note 3 will stick to these five carriers or move to others in the U.S. as well.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will improve upon the Galaxy Note 2 with a thinner and lighter design, new S Pen software, enhanced multitasking, a new camera, and more.

It will be joined later this month by the Samsung Gear, a smartwatch that can pair with the Galaxy Note 3 for calls, messages and more.

Big mistake not offering the Note 3 in the US until mid – late October. Especially, seeing there are many other options (One Max, Sony, Apple, etc) which could lure someone away from the Samsung purchase. So much for Samsung trying to get to market quicker!

I agree with Joel… Since my iPhone 4 has some hardware issues I have been on the fence for another Apple or replacing it with a Samsung note 3. Considering the Samsung release date is “sometime in October” / or to me “undetermined” ~ I will stay with something solid ~ Apple. Samsung lost my purchase…

So your Iphone has hardware problems, but yet it’s “something solid”?? Yea sure….you’re really credible!

Don’t make me laugh….people will wait for the Note 3 if that’s what they want…it’s only a few weeks. There are NOT many other options Joey…..unless there is another 5.7″ phone I don’t know about.

I agree with everyone so far. I was planning on buying three Samsung Note 3’s since there are three in my family, but my wife does not want to wait until October. As a result, it looks like I will be getting my first Apple Phone. In essence, Samsung lost about $2k from me.

You’re joking right? You have your family prepped for a phone with the best screen available and you pull the plug and throw them an overpriced, antiquated iPhone instead?

You sound like the guy who wanted a Mercedes but didn’t want to wait an extra month so you went out and bought a Mazda instead!!!!!

C’mon buddy…..not everyone is THAT dumb to believe you. You’re just an iPhone apologist and NEVER considered buying anything else.

Yeah Frank, I am with you on that. We’re not talking waiting for the holidays. There is nothing out there that really compares apples to apples that’s better that Note 3. I feel the frustration waiting on this thing, but really, wait 3 weeks.

Yeah there’s no way in hell I would ever purchase a iPhone over a SGN3, my kids (15,16) have a iPhone 4 and even they said it sucked as far as memory and no free apps to download music…I have the SGN2 and I absolutely adore and love it! I cant wait for the 3 to come out…just being patient…

If any of you are seriously considering a 64GB Note 3 from Verizon then I strongly suggest that you call them (Verizon) and let it be known that it is in demand. Right now, no one at Verizon has heard or seen any info on a 64gb version! Being a long time gamer, it is critical for me to have as much storage space as possible…so it’s ONLY the 64GB version for me!!!
