iOS 7 Release Date for iPhone & iPad Confirmed

on

Apple confirmed the iOS 7 release date for September 18th today at the company’s iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C event though the company said that that iOS 7 release date only pertains to owners of the iPhone and the iPad.

After months of rumors, leaks, speculation and iOS 7 beta releases, Apple finally confirmed the iOS 7 release date informing iPhone and iPad owners about when they can expect to download the new version of iOS.

September 18th will be the day that iPhone, iPad and iPod touch owners will be able to download the software through iTunes and Over-the-Air, something that puts to rest any rumors of an iOS 7 for iPad delay.

the iOS 7 release date could bring a slew of iOS 7 app updates.

The iOS 7 release date for iPhone and iPad is confirmed for September 18th.

iOS 7 not only brings a host of new features along with it, but it will also bring a new look to iPhone and iPad owners. Apple is calling the software the biggest update to iOS since the release of the original iPhone.

The software comes with a new user interface, vastly different than the one found in iOS 6 and below, an interface that was heavily influenced by Jony Ive, Apple’s design chief. The software will also bring a number of new features to iPhone and iPad owners including an overhauled camera app, AirDrop, and a new Control Center.

Of course, not all iOS 7 updates are created the same and iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 owners will be without some of the features contained within iOS 7. Apple previously announced that those devices, along with several several iPads would not be getting the entire version of iOS 7.

Older devices like the iPhone 3GS will not be getting the software at all, unsurprising given that Apple discontinued the iPhone 3GS with the release of the iPhone 5 last September.

Apple did not announce any more details in regards to the iOS 7 release date but iPhone and iPad owners can expect the software to roll out around 10AM PST for both the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch fifth-generation.

Question please reply on September 18th when it does come out how can I physically get it on the iPhone 4. Do I need to take it somewhere or can I do it manually?
