HP Pavilion 11 x2, Pavilion 13 x2 Brings Affordability to Convertible Form Factor

Published

If the flagship HP Spectre 13 x2 Ultrabook convertible is too rich for your blood, then HP’s got some more modestly priced offerings in their Pavilion lineup with similar detachable keyboard and screen form factors.

The Pavilion 11 x2 and Pavilion 13 x2 have either 11-inch or 13-inch display sizes based on their names and come eschews the Spectre’s premium machined unibody aluminum construction in favor of a more wallet-friendly plastic build.

Depending on the system, you’ll have an option of either Intel Bay Trail, AMD APU, or an Intel Core processor.

Additionally, the Spectre 11 x2 with its 11-inch display swaps out Intel’s more powerful Haswell Core i processor in favor of a more conservative quad-core Intel Bay Trail CPU architecture. The Spectre 13 x2 will come with either an AMD A6 APU or a new Intel Core processor. Both devices will run Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system.
