When Motorola and Google announced the new Moto X smartphone for $199 many weren’t happy with the price given the specs and screen size, but that isn’t all the flagship smartphone has to offer. With a slew of customization options on AT&T, nifty hands-free voice activation features and more the Moto X is still a good buy.

If you’ve been looking to get your hands on the Moto X but didn’t want to pay that high price, Best Buy is running another awesome special that will land you a Moto X from Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint for just $99. That’s $100 less than any carriers are currently offering in stores.

Just like last weekends awesome $49 iPhone 5C offer if you go to Best Buy Mobile instead of your carrier of preference you can get quite the deal. The 16GB Moto X will run you $99 with a new contract. This deal is for both new customers and those looking to upgrade, so it caters to everyone interested in the handset. This beats all carriers in store price, and even the $149 price point we’ve seen from Amazon as of late.

We’re not sure how long this deal will last at Best Buy and you might want to hurry. For those on Verizon wanting some customization you’re out of luck. Latest word has the Moto Maker customizations coming to Verizon Wireless on November 11th. By then this deal will surely be over, but we could be seeing a whole new price cut by that time as well. Especially with the Nexus 5 incoming.
