Kindle First Arrives for Early Access to New eBooks

Published

on

If you enjoy having early access to things before the general public does, then Kindle First might be for you. It’s a new service from Amazon that sees a handful of new books being chosen each month and offered to Kindle users for just $1.99, or for free for Prime members. New books are chosen every month, so you’ll be constantly getting fresh content to read each month.

The only downside is that you can only choose one book per month to get early access to. However, you don’t need to be a Kindle device owner to take advantage of Kindle First. Any Amazon customer has access to the service, since the ebooks work on all of the Kindle apps for the various platforms, like iOS and Android.

Lucky for you, the service launched today, and right now you can pick out your book of choice from the offerings that Amazon has put forth. Granted, most of the books aren’t top sellers, and none of them come directly from big publishers, but a free book is a free book if you ask us.

Right now, there’s four books that you can choose from, and each have their own category, including General Fiction, Inspiration, Romance and Mystery. The Mystery selection is Silent Echo by J.R. Rain, and it officially releases on December 1, but you can get it right now for just $1.99, or for free if you’re a Prime member, which you most likely are if you use Amazon frequently.

Again, you won’t find any best-selling authors in Kindle First, but it’s a great way to broaden your horizons without paying a lot of money. Plus, if you’re wanting to stockpile books for your Kindle ebook collection, this seems the way to go.
