The LG G2 has been a bit of a breakout hit for LG in the United States thanks to high-end hardware, useful software, and a marketing campaign that has focused on the buttons that reside on the back of the device as opposed to the side. Sales are reportedly low but that doesn't mean that LG is going to abandon the G series.
Rather, we expect it to continue to compete on the market and already, we've seen some whispers about an LG G3, a device that could tote a true octo-core processor for increased performance. It will likely have a number of other high-end features on board as well. If LG can get its software support together, it still lags behind the likes of HTC and Samsung, the LG G3 could be one of the stars of the next year.
