T-Mobile Users To Get Deal on iPhone 5c, Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4?

Upgrading to the latest and greatest smartphones could get a lot cheaper for T-Mobile users. According to reports, the carrier is planning to launch a new deal that will see it give users the iPhone 5c, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4 and more for no money down.

At least, that’s according to TMoNews, who shared information about what T-Mobile is reportedly calling its “Upgrade and Save” offer earlier today.

When the next phase of the program goes live – $0 deals on the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c have already come and gone – users who are due to upgrade their smartphone will receive a text message saying that they’ve been “selected” to receive a discount on their next device. Allegedly, this discount could range anywhere from $25 to $200 off the total price of a new device.

The T-Mobile iPhone 5 could arrive tomorrow.

T-Mobile is planning to go nationwide with the program on December 11th. At that time it will begin a direct mailing campaign and offer users the option to upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy S4, iPhone 5c with 16GB and 32GB of storage, iPhone 5 with 16GB and 32GB of storage, iPhone 5s with 16GB of storage and the LG Optimus F3 with no money down.

Right now, T-Mobile requires that users put down $49.99 for the Samsung Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5s.

It’s TMoNews’ assertion that these deals will be limited to users who meet “tenure eligibility requirements.”

If these reports are correct T-Mobile users could be in for the greatest smartphone deals of the year. To be clear, users would still need to agree to pay the post-discount cost of their new smartphone along with their bill. However, users can spread that cost out in monthly installments.

T-Mobile has yet to officially confirm the deal, however the Phase 1 deals mentioned in the report are already available on the company’s website. Users can pick up any select LG, Sony and Samsung smartphones like the LG G2, and the Xperia Z without a down payment. Today is the last day for that deal.

This “reporter” is an idiot.. All T-Mobile is going to do is charge more per month to make up the fact that are now “giving away free” the new phones.

Alex, you happen to be wrong…at least for the Samsung Galaxy S4. A few days ago T-Mobile was advertising this phone for $49.99 down and $24/month for 24 months which mean that you ultimately pay $625.99. With today’s deal you save approximately $26 ($0 down and $25/month for 24 months, or $600).

Wow, how stupid can people be. All that matters is the price of the phone. Smart phone excessive prices will eventually kill this market in my opinion.

Why are you guys being so hard on him? He isn’t reporting anything these other reporters haven’t with their articles. Blame tmobile for trying to give us the fake ass deals, not the messenger. I’ve seen like five of these articles on the web, this guy is just doing his job. Sheesh.
