Sony announced a slew of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and Android 4.4 KitKat updates. The Sony Xperia S, a widely adopted smartphone, was nowhere to be found. If it's not getting either of those updates, Sony clearly has scuttled it from its Android update plans. It will remain on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, an update that brought it s fair share of issues to Sony Xperia S owners after it arrived.
