The much leaked Nokia Lumia Icon, also known as the Nokia Lumia 929, Windows Phone 8 smartphone could launch on Verizon Wireless‘ 4G LTE network as early as February 5 according to a recent leak. Prolific leaker @evleaks had posted to Twitter that the launch date could be on Februaryt 5th or a month later on March 5th, along with an image showing a page of the user guide for the wireless carrier.

The Nokia Lumia Icon will be a high-end smartphone that’s a variant of the Nokia Lumia 1520 and will likely compete against the 6-inch phablet on rival carrier AT&T also made by Nokia.

Unlike the Lumia 1520, the Lumia Icon has been speculated to have a more compact footprint, eschewing the former’s unwieldy 6-inch display for a more manageable 5-inch display. Like the Lumia 1520, though, the Icon is rumored to support some of the best features available to the platform to date, including a full HD 1080p display, quad-core processor, 4G LTE connectivity, and a 20-megapixel PureView camera with ZEISS optics and image stabilization.

Additionally, based on earlier leaks, it looks like the design of the Lumia Icon will be similar to the Nokia Lumia 928 currently on Verizon. This will give Nokia’s devices on the carrier some continuity of design, including straight sides with curved corners and a tapered back plate. However, the Icon is said to be constructed using a mix of metal and plastic to give it a more premium feel.

The Lumia Icon was previously rumored to arrive on Verizon in November 2013, but that didn’t materialize.
