JBL has been making speaker docks for a long time and we're big fans of the company's work. It has a decent lineup of Lightning-equipped speaker docks, but our favorites are the OnBeat Venue and the OnBeat Micro. The Micro is a miniature speaker dock that costs less than most speaker docks we've seen. However, the smaller size means that the music might not be as punchy as you'd prefer, although many folks prefer a smaller size for portability with the sacrifice of sound quality. However, for those that want a JBL dock with more punch, the Venue is one that we'd probably get. It doubles as a Bluetooth speaker as well, letting you stream music to it from your couch or office chair. A lot of owners praise the Venue for its great low-end sound, and it's even loud enough to be used as an outdoor speaker whenever needed. The Micro is priced at $75 on Amazon, while the Venue costs $185. | ||||||

Ignore this guy’s recommendations. He has no clue what quality sound is supposed to be. Not surprisingly he rates Bose (that crap of a Co.) as the best Iphone dock. I got that pos for free with AMEX account and it is worthless, boomy piece of garbage.
