The 2014 State of the Union Address takes place tonight at 9 PM when President Barack Obama will address the current state of affairs in the United States in a speech that will likely touch on healthcare reform, NSA Spying and many other hot button issues.

President Obama will speak to Congress starting at 9 PM Eastern and many TV stations will air the speech in it’s entirety as well as the followup response from the Republicans.

If you can’t be in front of a TV, or perhaps more likely the other people in the room don’t want to watch the 2014 State of the Union, there is an easy way to watch the State of the Union live from the iPhone, iPad, Android or from a computer.

For the 2014 State of the Union Address viewers can go to the White House website to see a special enhanced version of the SOTU address. This will include charts, graphs and other data shown next to the president as he covers important topics facing the U.S.

The video will not go live until 9 PM Eastern, 6 PM Pacific. The video below shows what it would have looked like if important State of the Union speeches from years past were enhanced in this way.

The White House website will use YouTube to live stream the 2014 State of the Union address so that it is easy for anyone with a smartphone, tablet or computer to watch. The YouTube State of the Union live stream will work on the iPhone, iPad and Android devices as well as Windows or Mac computers.

There is also an official White House App that delivered the State of the Union last year, and may do the same thing this year. The app is available free of charge for the iPhone, iPad and on Google Play for Android.

To follow along on social media, look for the #SOTU hashtag to see what others are saying about the President’s address and any rebuttals from the Republican party.
